Hope for Heroes

For over 80 years, Epsilon Sigma Alpha has seen many needs and filled them with helping hands. One need we’ve filled consistently over the years is supporting our service men and women around the world and their families. Given the long history of helping our troops, I felt the Hope for Heroes project would make for a perfect IC President’s challenge.
At International Council Convention in San Antonio, TX, I introduced the Hope for Heroes: An ESA National Event, November 7 – 14, 2009 project. I’m requesting every chapter to joint venture with other community groups in their area to hold a public event to gather needed items for the troops and/or their families. During this one-week period (which included Veterans’ Day), I believe all ESA chapters will make a huge difference to those in need, and help spread the word about the positive programs ESA supports.
Unleash your ESA Spirit and Believe in all the possibilities to show our love and appreciation for the dedication and service of our Heroes.
